EdenPURE GEN4 Heater Troubleshooting
The GEN4 heater is equipped with a washable, lifetime filter which is easy to clean. It is recommended that the filter be cleaned regularly or as needed.
To clean the filter, follow the following steps:
- Remove the filter from the back of the GEN4.
- Vacuum the filter.
- Rinse the filter in a sink with warm water. Do not use a high pressure water source or use any soaps or detergents.
- Your filter must be dry before re-installing in your GEN4 heater. It’s not recommended to dry the filter with an appliance such as a hair dryer. Air dry is recommended.
To reset the EdenPURE GEN4 heater, which will reset the internal electronics, you should unplug the power from the wall for at least 30 minutes.
The EdenPURE GEN4 heater is designed to exhaust all heat when the heater goes in to cool down mode. Cool down mode occurs when you turn off the unit or once the heater has achieved the desired temperature.
Like most edenpure heaters, the GEN4 is designed to circulate air in your environment every few minutes. This is even if your desired temperature has been reached. This cycle occurs every three minutes for about 20 seconds.
